"If you are looking for a marriage and family therapist, a licensed professional counselor, or a neurofeedback clinician in the Ft. Worth, North Dallas area and surrounding communities, you may want to contact me when there is a need for competent, compassionate and confidential services. I enjoy working with couples (premarital or marriages in transition), families, individuals, children, and adolescents. Challenges dealing with relationship issues, divorce, remarriage-blended families, parenting, career change, midlife, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, weight issues (bariatric surgery clients) and abuse are my passions as I strive to provide the best care possible in our search together for solutions for difficult situations.

I am also excited to provide neurofeedback therapy for many difficult conditions including: Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Reactive Attachment Disorder, Aspergers Syndrome, and sleep disturbances. I have also seen some remarkable results using neurofeedback in peak performance training with athletes, speakers, and performers.

If you are interested in my services, background and training or would just like to talk, I look forward to hearing from you." —JACKIE KEISH

Philosophy

Jackie works with her clients based on the knowledge that the solutions to problems are within reach of each individual. Often, these solutions have become obscured by life's difficulties, which have kept the individual from reaching full potential. Within a safe, respectful, non-judgmental, and therapeutic relationship, Jackie encourages guided growth, development and empowerment.

Background

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Licensed Professional Counselor, a clinical hypnotherapist, a neurofeedback clinician, a former special education teacher, diagnostician, a wife and mother of two, Jackie understands the struggles of multiple roles and expectations. This unique combination of professional and personal experiences enables Jackie to be an understanding, yet objective and effective therapist.

Professional Education

After receiving her undergraduate degree from Louisiana Tech University, Jackie worked with learning disabled and emotionally disturbed children and was subsequently awarded her Masters degree as an Educational Consultant/Diagnostician from the same university. Later she received a second Master's Degree (Distinguished Graduate) as a Marriage and Family Therapist from St. Mary's University, San Antonio, Texas. She was awarded her doctoral degree from this same university.
